  • Oil stains on driveways — possible with detergent + pressure
  • Weed growth in joints — kills weed roots
  • Tarmac discoloration — restores depth of colour

How we pressure wash — proper technique

Cheap pressure washing damages surfaces. We use:

  • Industrial pressure washer with adjustable nozzle
  • Surface-cleaner attachment — even results on flat areas, no streak lines
  • Detergent options for tough stains (eco-friendly only, biodegradable)
  • Surface-specific pressure — softer for sandstone, harder for concrete
  • Distance control — safe distance from windows, paint, stonework
  • Surface protection where needed (tarpaulin for delicate areas)

Pressure Washing FAQs

Will it damage my paving?

Not with the right pressure and technique. We adjust pressure based on surface type — softer for sandstone or older paving, harder for concrete or tarmac. Our crew has technique experience.

How long does it take to dry?

2-4 hours typically in good weather. Longer if cool or damp. We don’t recommend pressure washing in heavy rain (visibility issues) or freezing weather (water freezes on surface).

Will the moss come back?

Slowly, yes — Lanarkshire’s wet climate means moss returns over 1-2 years naturally. Annual pressure wash prevents the deep buildup that’s harder to remove. Optional sealer application extends results.

Do you need water from my house?

No. We bring our own water in van tanks. You don’t need to provide anything.

Is your detergent safe for plants?

Yes — biodegradable, non-toxic. We rinse thoroughly. Your borders, lawn, and pets are safe.

Will the noise bother neighbours?

Pressure washers are loud (around 90 decibels at the machine). Typical job 1-3 hours. We can schedule for less disruptive times if needed.

Are you insured?

Fully — Public Liability + Employer’s Liability. Companies House registered (SC811789).
