Frequently Asked Questions
How much does window cleaning cost in Airdrie?
Small terraced homes start at £10 per visit. A standard 3-bed semi is around £20. Larger detached homes or farmhouses are £50+, quoted individually. We work on a 4-weekly recurring schedule — most customers find this gives the best value. Free quotes any time on 07440347383.
How often should I get my windows cleaned in Lanarkshire?
Most homes look best on a 4-6 week schedule. Scotland’s wet weather and Lanarkshire’s hard water mean windows go visibly tired faster than further south. Some folks stretch to 8 weeks. We’ll suggest based on your specific home — never push you into more frequent than you need.
Do I need to be home when you clean?
No. We work outside, no access needed. Pay after via card, bank transfer, or cash — whatever’s easiest. Most of our regulars never see us — they just notice the windows are cleaner.
What’s pure water cleaning, and why does it matter?
Pure water is deionised water — minerals removed. When normal tap water dries on glass, it leaves white spots (especially in Lanarkshire’s hard water area). Pure water dries with no marks, no streaks. We bring our own pure water in tanks — you don’t need to provide anything.
What if it rains right after you clean?
Clean glass + clean rain = nothing happens. The streaks people worry about come from dirt or detergent on the glass, not from rain itself. Once a window is properly clean, the next shower doesn’t undo it.
Do you do conservatory roofs?
Yes. Most window cleaners take one look at a dirty conservatory roof and walk away. We don’t. Soft-wash technique, safe for polycarbonate or glass, and we’ll clear the conservatory gutter at the same time (which most cleaners forget). Conservatory cleaning starts from £30 for small jobs.
How much is solar panel cleaning?
£5 per panel. That’s it. 8 panels = £40, 12 panels = £60, 20 panels = £100. Transparent pricing. Most domestic arrays take an hour or two. Pure water only, no detergent residue.
What areas do you cover?
Airdrie (HQ), Coatbridge, Motherwell, Cumbernauld, Glasgow east end and surrounding suburbs (Bishopbriggs, Stepps, Baillieston, Robroyston). Plus all the smaller towns in between — Holytown, Glenmavis, Kilsyth, Chapelhall, New Stevenston, Carfin, Plains, Salsburgh.
Are you insured?
Fully — Public Liability + Employer’s Liability. We’re a registered limited company (Companies House SC811789, registered Scotland). Happy to send certificates before booking, especially for commercial clients.
How quickly can you come out?
Same-day response on quotes (usually within a few hours). Booking lead time depends on the season — spring is busiest, autumn we’re more flexible. For urgent jobs (pre-sale viewing, last-minute cleanup), we try to fit you in within 48 hours.
